I will work tirelessly to make ND a better place. As a 20-year educator, I have seen the decline in quality education and the detrimental effect on our children. We need to get back to teaching the basic foundations. I urge you to go to https://insights.nd.gov/Education to check official information on your school district. The key here is to look at the proficiency vs the graduation rate! I also urge everyone to look at the number of A's and B's (the honor roles) when considering these statistics.
I support REAL property tax relief. ND provides TIFs to SELECT businesses and often leave the burden of taxation on our older residents, single parents and others who live on fixed incomes. Let's face it! Property taxes assure you never really own anything, but continue to rent from the county for your entire life.
I would work to free farms and small businesses from needless over-regulation and support the constitution and individual freedoms to decide how you wish to live your life and run your business.
I support preserving medical freedom of choice and the security of medical records and would vote against forcing the shutdown of ANY business due to a 'pandemic' so our government can crush small businesses as it promotes SELECT corporations.
As a licensed concealed carry holder I am a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment and realize the purpose of this amendment is to protect the people from a tyrannical government, not the right to hunt.
